Good for some, but no good for the early adopters, especially those fervent Pentax supporters who upgraded. After 4 months, if I were to sell the K5, I will lose approximately 23% of its value, and possibly 60% at the end of one year. Good camera maybe, but lousy company and people running it. If I learn to love K5 (not Pentax) then I will buy the next one at the tail end of its life, otherwise, switch back to other more stable brands.
One good example of my previous experience, bought my 5D (4 yr old) at S$ 2000 and sold it for S$ 1700 after another year and lost 15% but gain 1 year of use.
forget about "learning to love it". just use it and enjoy it. its a tool, its not a spouse.
if you do not enjoy using it, then forget it. i truly sympathise that a simple camera is causing u so much complex emotions.
