Tried the GH4 for the first time. Damn. I like it!
Good 4k and good 1080p.
The face detection AF and tracking AF mode is really quite something. May not replace my follow focus, but I am sure with some practice and understanding of the AF system, will be able to pull of pretty good follow focusing.


Don't quite love the menu though.

For those shooting with it, will you still use a loupe over the LCD or use the evf directly?

Can I ask some question about the slow motion function in GH4.

When we set to slow mo with high bit rate, will the video clip be:

1)already in slowmo when we extract it from the SD card

OR

2)do we have to slow it down using video editing software ?

From what I've read, and the sample original files I've downloaded, under/overcranked shots are encoded to a 24/25p wrapper, so the file does play back in slow mo, not 96fps.

If you own a set of EF/FD lenses or Nikon F/G mount lenses, then the speedbooster is the best investment

Is the Canon EF Mount to standard M43 available? To my knowledge only support BMPCC

hey it's a very useful book! I keep a copy of the GH3 one in my phone and iPad. you never know when you might need to refer to it.
