Omg Help me LighroomPros!

So i take some pics in black and white using RAW

i open it up with lightroom, it converts the pic into colour!?!?!

wth is happening? i know it auto-correct the pictures, but this!?


any ideas?

Cause raw by default will be a non processed copy of your photo. If in camera u took b&w mode, it was actually in camera processed.

dont use lightroom,try using photoshop to open your raw file.

so how do i get around it?

just grayscale convert it in lightroom?

ya... since you are at it, might as well do some adjustment.

like previously said, raw = no conversion, nothing.

so when you use raw, its what exactly the sensor see. without those vivid settings or watever settings you did on the DSLR.

i had exactly the same situation.
not to worry. in lightroom, under Develop>Basic, there's a greyscale feature. select it with change to to bnw. in raw, you go switch between color and greyscale.
that's the beauty of it.
