OF a truth, that's possible. really! I felt that I need some height to take some shots when I was in potong pasir 2 days ago...and i really tried what ed9119 suggested...tool multi AF tho' and got at least 2 decent shots. Hee....It works...really!

Just updated my firmware to 81! Yet to see any enhancements while shooting it. Hear it will auto-focus better in poor light condition. :dunno: Yet to realize. :think:

I've noticed quite a few shots with lens flare using my Oly 5060. I wonder if other Oly 5060 owners have noticed the same?

Just got myself a 5060 today. Haven't tried it out as I was in a hurry to go to work. Got to charge the batt, read the manual and familiarise myself with all the functions before I could start shooting. All the buttons / functions look alien to me as all my previous cams were Canon except my first digicam - Oly 2040. :bsmilie: I am also keeping my fingers crossed hoping that it will not malfunction as many owners had experienced. I was told that mine is from a new batch and probably the problems have been rectified. :thumbsup:

Shouldn't be giving you any problem. Check the firmware. Hope you get the latest firmware. Mine haven't giving me any problem so far since Jan 04.

I read from one of the Olympus websites that they sell a quicker 2-hour charger for the the 5060 battery. The charger that comes in the 5060 package is too slow - takes 6 hours to charge a battery. Anybody has any idea whether it's available here, who sells it and how mcuh it cost. Thanks.

Try Cathay Photo, if not TCW, if not Alan Photo, if not MSColor.

Not too sure about the "presence" of this charger though i know of it's "existence". Have not found any reason to spend on this "turbo" charger which i believe it's not cheap at all. 2 X 3rd party battery solved my "worry" of low-batt situation which only cost me 60 bucks. Maybe the turbo charger is about the same price, that i'm not sure. But with reference to the Olympus US online shop This charger should set you back at least 100 bucks SGD for a 2 hour quick charge function. :think:
