Question,

I see lots of people buying the more expensive adapters.
Are they precise enough such that the focus scale on the lenses are accurate?

For me, the more expensive adapters are definitely better made. Been using my Novoflex LEM/NEX adapter for over a year and its a beautifully made adapter for sure. But they do cost more, but are they 5x better than the cheaper ones? Maybe not but I don't see the point of people mating expensive lenses with a cheap adapter. Just my opinion of course YMMV

This screen protector thing has been discussed since launch date of A7/R. You can pick up the original semi-hard screen protector from the usual Sony Stores, Cathay Photo, Click Photo, etc. $19 each.

Or buy third party brand. I am using Martin Fields pasted-on-full-LCD-screen type, not like the original which only has perimeters pasted around the LCD screen, creating a space between the protector and the actual LCD screen. Always felt the full pasted type (like those firm pasted on phone or PDA screen) protects better.

You can make your choices.

Huh... Stocks came and go and came again for a few rounds already buddy!

Just give a call to Cathay Photo, Click Photo, or Sony V3 store at Sim Lim. Always see stocks in these few stores!
