does anyone know where else i can find the PCK-LM16 screen protector?
It seems to be out of stock at Sony stores.

Thanks!

You might find it at Cathay too

Just tested the Sigma 60mm ART for Nex E Mount today. This one is EXTREMELY sharp. So sharp that I think it is the same optical formula for the Sigma Merrill DP3M which can resolve the 46mpx sensor of Sigma Merrill sensor!

Did some research and realised that this is the sharpest of the 3 Sigma E mount lens. So if you are happy with either the Sigma 30mm F2.8 or Sigma 19mm F2.8, you will be pleasantly surprised that this one is even sharper!

Mounted on a 24mpx Nex 7, this is the sharpest lens on Nex 7, outresolving the sensor and way sharper by a big gap than the Sony Carl Zeiss 24mm F1.8 which is 2nd in the list! The Sigma 30mm F2.8 thought similar sharpness as 35FE, is a few points below in sharpness!

Click Dxomark website, choose Sony E mount:

Someone tested this lens with a A7R and posted samples here:

For those waiting for a 50-85mm AF lens, you can consider this. Just small vignette, but centre resolution can optimise the 36mpx of a A7R!

Was there this evening, they don't have it either.

I tested a7r with A-mount 24-70mm at imm yesterday. The adapter causes the whole set to off balance on my hand. Unless I going for fe lens or own lendendary lenses else forget. Few months later, I might be getting the next A-mount ff anyway. :D

does anybody have vignetting on the kit lens?
i recently bought an FPro BW Clear filter for it and the corners seem a little darker.
might have to try without the filter later.

The lens is a heavy lens to begin with , dont think its the adapter issue. But the grip on the a7 makes the 24-70 more useable than on NEX 7. Well, mounting dslr lenses is an additional option on the A7. The 35mm, 55mm, 24-70mm and 70-200 announced FE lens are optically very good. If one is willing to take the plunge, can consider changing everything for it =D . The reason I am holding on to my DSLR is just purely to my CZ lenses. But i agree, not fun to use them on A7/R

Filters will cause vignette , so its not uncommon. Usually I put on the lens hood to act as protection for front lens element against knocks and brushes.

For me, the more expensive adapters are definitely better made. Been using my Novoflex LEM/NEX adapter for over a year and its a beautifully made adapter for sure. But they do cost more, but are they 5x better than the cheaper ones? Maybe not but I don't see the point of people mating expensive lenses with a cheap adapter. Just my opinion of course YMMV

Totally agree ! Stick with NovoFlex or Metabones.
