Just collected my black Gariz Case from Funan. Very good built quality as usual, with added "height" for the bottom protection.

You can try to look for other colours for ready stocks, but I think black is limited and kept for those reserved for them.

The stocks for just the 3 standard colours already not enough for the market. Think you need to customise your request and pay more for brown stitch.

Just bought my A7r from MidValley Shopping Mall in KL & saved $300! Because I just learnt that there is a Tourist International Warranty that will be honoured in Sony Service Centres in Singapore! A salesperson in Sungei Wang told me that only Sony & Olympus have such Tourist Warranty. I also get a free Sony SD card 16GB 93mb/s! It's true. I have read and received this warranty.
Secondary savings- I bought 3 extra original Sony batteries at $38 each!
Other items that may not offer any savings- a Sony battery charger for $68 and a Sony Flash HVL-42M for $350.
(FE lenses were not available. They did not have PWP promo for Sony adapters. I couldn't find any M mount adapters.)
On top of this, the Shopping Mall had a SKII cosmetic promo & I received '$500' worth of their products! From the Mall's Visa card promo, I received $20 worth of Bodium coffee glasses.
Really worth it. Oh yeah, I bought a National Geographic Midi Africa camera bag for $112 from Low Yat Plaza. Such a beautiful bag for a compact camera with other personal items.

If its FE, especially made by Zeiss or its a G lens, I think I will wait for it instead... Seems penny wise and pound foolish to me if I get this combo now... Haha... :bsmilie:

It will have to seriously beat the beercan pixel to pixel for that price. But it has OSS la , =S , so already one up and without the translucent mirror

Actually I find 700-800g lenses balances very well with the body. In fact I find this setup below very handy though it is a bit long for transportation. So I think the new FE 70-200 will be of just the right size and weight.

Nice. Does the 1.4 tele work well with the metabones ? No lag or anything ?

It works well but AF slower. This is already a known issue with Metabones. And you have the off the camera and attached the entire setup before power up for it to work. Unlike on previous Canon setup, I can skip the power off and on, and change lenses on the fly. Not a big deal though.

The 35mm f2.8 is also cheaper.. About S$940 after discount from sony centre Malaysia.

I was at Berjaya Times Square Sony Centre. They only had 3 units. They just sold the last one when I reached there. The price quoted was about the same as Singapore price $1060.
