If they didn't have it in stock they should have said that instead. In that case you would have paid for it in full and collected it later. I doubt they will give you the deal on a separate invoice. Dealers are often sneaky here, you have to be careful.

Last time I had the same case, the shop rejected and insist of the same date invoice, I wrote to Sony and they honor the PWP, they called the shop and instructed them to sell me the second battery. Shop LPPL. 😄

Henavs, call the shop first, if they said cannot then write to Sony.

What do you guys use to transfer pics for the A7? Pardon me, am very new to sony.

There's an official $19 battery PWP promo with a7/a7R. When I was collecting my a7, the sales agents didn't know about it until I pointed out that it was printed on the hardboard poster they have on display in front of their shop (Sony Marina Square).

Perhaps take out the sdcard, slot in card reader and open lightroom or whichever application you prefer, or best manual copy and paste for later import. Does this make sense?

hmmm use a blower to try and blow it off? saw some specs when i shot at F11 and the blower got the dust away easily

Every Sony camera I ever bought came with dust on the sensor, it's their trademark. Anyway, as you said, simply blow it off.

Yup, but they should really add that. It would be very handy. Of course it would only work if the USB output delivers enough ampere.

For the second battery that i overpaid, CP called me back and refunded me. Seems that some sales person didn't know about the PWP on first day of sales.

Bro, I wasn't even shooting. I was just playing with the settings and whoosh... 10% gone.... But i did tinker with it for quite a long time and I did test some wifi transfer.... Anyone tried the NFC yet as one of the Bros asked? I still can't get it to work.

Can't get nfc to work on both z1 n ultra!!! "This device is not supported" the msg says!! Sony cannot talk to Sony!

But it works on my Samsung 2014 Note 10.1 without nfc!@!!##$$$#! Am able to remote shoot n transfer from camera to Note.

Anyone else with the same problems?

Even WiFi only doesn't work? Just tried Nexus 4 with Android 4.3 and 4.4, both work fine with NFC.

I got the A7 with kit and 35 mm. I think the AF speed sucks. Sometime cannot focus even. I think it's slower than nex 5t and def slower n more difficult to achieve lock than oly em5. Otherwise, no other complaints so far. I hope that the AF issue can be fixed with a firmware update.

Oh...lack of accessories is irritating. No flash, no battery charger, no lens etc in all the shops. Amazing. And they got marketing people going ard to the shops helping put up display cases. Literally ho Kua Bo ho jia - nice to see but not nice to eat.

Only works thru wifi with the Samsung Note...cannot make it work with the xperias.

I'm using the Z1 and it works perfectly fine. Just that full manual control is not possible yet i suppose.

Also have you updated your PlayMemories mobile to the latest version?

There's a "Reset Network Set." option under the Wireless menu section. Try that first.

Oh, is this the only way.

Maybe I am just to used to the nikon transfer, which only transfer the pictures which is new and never transfered before, into a new folder. The previously transferred pictures are lefted alone.

I was hoping sony has something like that.
