You don't even need to try to get them in non-Sony stores, they never carry first party screen protectors in Singapore. ;)

Actually according to Sony Singapore, Cathay and Click! does carry lol. That's why I was around Funan, ok actually the reason was food haha.

Just enjoy shooting first... not an urgency to get all the accesories... with the Barton strap at least U can carry it around U easily...

It's really that soft on the neck, gosh I am really amazed haha.

Good to know! Did you give them a call?

Cathay Photo Marina Square has 1 piece of the semihard LCD protector (original Sony) left, and Sim Lim V3 Sony Store has 3-4 sets left.

Give them a call before heading down. V3 store also has 1 set of the original leather case and a last piece of the superb 35mm FE.

Yeah, apart from all the stores having no stock for the Sony semi-hard protectors, Click! has the third party ones that they purport to fit (told me over the phone), but when I was there, some dude beat me to it like 5 mins before!

DAMN, I called Cathay Peninsula and they told me even MS branch doesn't have to, knew that I should have double-checked!!

How much are they selling it for?

Which one? Semihard screen protector I think is $25 at Sony V3. Cathay Marina Sq I didnt ask price.

Leather casing I think is $169.

35mm F2.8 FE is at $1069.

I just bought the grip and 35 f2.8...

After having shot for years with canon, i just unknowingly built a new system.

And i'm thinking of getting the lux lenses next...

Hi Guys - Just bought the A7 kit over the weekend. :)

However, i did find that the fit of the kit lens to the body not as ideal as my previous cameras - it has a little bit of freeplay. i.e. lens can be rotated slightly when mounted properly. Is this something that you guys experienced?

Thanks for the feedback!

U should just go back to the retailer and demand an exchange since its less than 7 days.

Have done that - we tested 2 more sets and they were even worse...

Kidding me? Serious design issue then. N they claim it to b weather sealed wif d kit lens? LOL

Not uncommon with all mounts, really depends on the lens. Usually I saw that only with very heavy lenses, shouldn't happen with a lightweight one like the Sony FE kit lens. Anyway, it's annoying but it isn't a problem. Images will turn out the same way as without play. ;)

Guess this shop in Sim Lim sells everything a RRP. Anyway, never really like semi-hard type with the pasted area around the perimeters. Seems to attract dirt after a while at the sides.

Standard LCD protectors which is pasted on top of the LCD screen seems better for me. Last longer and no dirt getting in. Plus it is pasted by experienced person which is totally zero bubbles and dirt.

I have to say I never had any dust issues at the corners even after years.

Good should as lux will be a long lasting Len to keep. If u know the good and bad at wide open on this cam then you can avoid by shooting differently to avoid the bad.

Anyway I only shoot lux 50 on A7r and now getting the 35 FE. The grip quite gd built.
