Nothing new . . . once I asked one of the twits to unlock the display peg so I could buy a 67mm lens cap (there were several on the peg), and he told me they had no stock.

Another time I asked if they had the FDA-EV1S in stock and the idiot went to check, then came back and proudly handed me an OVF.

The other day I went in looking for a strap with split O-rings and the smarta$$ told me to try 5th floor Orchard Ion (which is a carpark).

Worst was a couple of years ago when I went there and asked for a NEX-7 (most places had no stock at the time), and the salesman asked, "What kind of product is that, sir?"

Actually, no, the worst was when I went there hoping to test the Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 for NEX, and found that they had only a dummy lens! "It's the exact appearance, size and weight of the real thing, sir," said the salesperson. Hey, how it looks is all that matters if you don't give a $hit about IQ… ;p

Crap... I think that Sales guy I talked to was a clueless idiot then... He basically just looked at that shelf which had the F20M flash on the back and told me out of stock

Yes. Its 19 bucks.

looks like the Sony Store guys are clueless :bsmilie:

A good review (if you can read Chinese) of the superb 35mm f2.8 FE, optimising the highest resolution of the A7R.

This is probably one of the few lens that could show the resolution power of A7R. No need to get other 35mm lenses as this has AF and superb resolution:

Indeed, it is a very good lens for the A7R. Keep us looking forward to the future FE 35mm f/2.0 lens that has AF and presumingly superb resolution too from Zeiss/Sony.

thinking of getting the Voigtlander 20mm/f3.5 SL IIN Color Skopar Aspherical.. anyone have any comments of this lens on a7? any colour cast or vignetting?

Finally got hold of the Barton 1972 braided style! So excited that I got to post it here lol.

Yeah, while I was hunting for the PCK-LM16 during lunch break, went to a couple of shops at Funan that told me only after Xmas... ARGHHH the wait is excruciating lol.

Just enjoy shooting first... not an urgency to get all the accesories... with the Barton strap at least U can carry it around U easily...

You don't even need to try to get them in non-Sony stores, they never carry first party screen protectors in Singapore. ;)

some of them do, for example Cathay Photo did have some stock of the original sony protectors.

That's not Funan. ;)

haha that's just across the road ... and anyway, your comment was "You don't even need to try to get them in non-Sony stores, they never carry first party screen protectors in Singapore"
