hehe everyone is learning here.

forgot to add that another factor why the FE native lenses seem to have more obvious peaking is also because they are "slower" lenses in terms of AF, 35mm F2.8 and 55mm F1.8, more things in focus, greater DOF. If you are comparing them to 35 1.4/1.2 or 50 1.2/1.4, the faster lenses with less DOF will "peak" less vs the FE lenses.

No lah, becos I very long never use Sony peaking function so this is really helpful.
I believe it applies to other cameras with peaking function as well.

Yesterday was trying the Rokkor 58 f1.2 old version and despite the colour not as good as the newer Rokkors, it seem to be much sharper. I do not have both lens to compare yesterday but will do it soon and post the results here.

I suspect there could be variations too... U can test my Rokkor too... ;)
