There QC and when it comes to China adapters, it boils down to luck.
Since they are cheap, I usually order a few more once that particular batch is good.

I find the amount of peaking lines much 'higher' on FE native lenses than when using non-native lenses, is this normal ?

the sharper and more contrasty the lens, the more obvious the peaking is.

so it's quite normal cuz the FE 35mm F2.8 and FE 55mm F1.8 are really sharp lenses!

He was already poisoned and get the MC Rokkor 58/1.2 liao... D same version as mine... D only other 50s he hasn't really tried (but held it for awhile) is the Lux 50/1.4 ASPH... See when u all free leh... Really need a group event soon with all of u..

As Ricleo said, if the lens is less contrasty, its not going to peak as much.
For example, if I used even a lens like Summicron 50 DR (gentler contrast) or Fed1 50/3.5, they do not have as much peaking as say a Pentax 50/1.7 which is a contrasty lens.

Let a bro tried the Summar yesterday. Doesn't even show peaking on my IR camera until exp compensation dial down to -1. Haha
