This is what i doing now after the money i standby for a7 sudden all buy lenses and add some more cash...if not last month i should hv owned a7...now must recover liao....hahahha...so wait photokina ends first and i will buy but hope no good lenses pop up again...hahaha
 

Once u buy lens, there will be no end. Rokkor 58 f1.2 metal focusing ring u have 2 versions, then change to rubber focusing ring u have 3 versions. First version s/n 200XXXXX , then prob change around 250XXX in terms of coatings, not too sure abt constructions, then change to rubber focusing ring, then Rokkor PG and finally just MC Rokkor.

So far I have used 4 versions, only missing the 250XXX version. If a suitable one with reasonable price comes along, will get it just to try. Likely version 2 and 3 is the same. So if u are collector, just the 58 f1.2 u can buy 5 copies liao. MD 50 f1.2 I think has 2 version as well. Oly 50 f1.2 has 2 version, 55 f1.2 has at least 2 to 3 version, Nikon pre Ai, Ai,Ais f1.2 both in 50 and 55 mm has at least 6 version. Canon breech mount 55 f1.2, 1.2 SSC, AL, SSC AL, SSC Aspherical, 50mm f1.2 L, 50mm f1.2 u just count. Pentax K 50 f1.2, A 50 f1.2 not so bad. Then we have exotic like Ricoh 50 f1.2 (bro Jiayen hehe). Porst 50 f1.2, Konica 57 mm f1.2, and then the M mount canon bright lenses etc and the ultimate Notilux. This is just the 1.2 lenses or wider. We dont want to count the f 1.4, 1.7, f2.0 lenses hahaha

Just buy once , buy right. 58/1.2 , 27xxxx ;)

Right to yr preference... Some ppl love the older MC Rokkor PF or PG for its low contrast rendering... and maybe sharper as mentioned by bro overworked... Other than those he had mentioned, also can try Noct Nikkor 58/1.2, Zunow 50/1.1 LTM, Nikkor 50/1.1 LTM, Konica Hexanon 60/1.2 LTM Limited Edition, Fujinon 50/1.2 LTM... Lastly can try all the Noctilux 50/1.2, 50/1 Version 1,2,3,4 and finally Noctilux 50/0.95 ASPH.

Dun u just love all the choices?? :bsmilie:

Can I check if there is a 58mm Rokkor f1.2 PF? U guys kept on mentioning PF. The f1.4 I know has PF but does the 58mm f1.2 has PF version??

Cannot bluff the Rokkor Master like U... LOL... Indeed, no PF for f/1.2 only for f/1.4... My bad bro...
