Hi guys,

I just gotten the a7r with 55/1,8. May I know which ultra wide angle works best?

I have shorted-listed a few.
Voigtlander 12/5.6 Ultra Wide
Voigtlander 15/4.5 Super Wide
Voigtlander 21mm/1.8 Ulton

I know there lens from Zeiss, Samyang, etc.

Do add on the list which you have tested so far.

Please help to list out the lens name and performance on a7r.

add the Sony SEL1018 to your list. it's an aps-c lens but works very well on the A7/A7R from 12-17mm.

Coming from Nikon D800 going to join A7. Previously switch to Fuji xe1 totally disappointed with xe1 focus. Tried the A7 much better.

Anyone have images compare the nikon D800 + Sigma 35 1.4 with A7/R + 35 2.8 ?

I hope the A7 + 35 2.8 can compare with the sigma. I will miss the bokeh of 1.4.

Second hand 2400- 2600 not much difference, I quoted 2640 for new pcs.

Any user switch back to dslr due to disappointed with A7?

Sure have users switch back dslr or m4/3 and still have ppl coming in for A7.
Different ppl different thoughts

I still cannot understand why premium Sony fe lens 35 only f2.8.

Too bad the convetor for nikon can't auto focus, otherwise can use my nikon 34 1.4 art.

Any best combo and cheap alternative with auto focus? Understand canon lens can auto focus with a7 but not familiar with canon system.

Anyone can recommend? I am looking for wide angle for landscape, 35 1.4 and 50 or 85 1.4.

U can use sony A lens with LA-EA4 adaptor

Good things dont come cheap =p
Hard to find good, cheap and auto focus lens for E mount
Unless sigma invent into E lens lor..

Tried shooting with the new Sigma 50mm f1.4 art on my 5D3. This glass pops man! Love the color renditions & contrast. Then I'd tried the FE55 f1.8 on my A7R, super sharp & nice Bokeh.. But the Sigma.. Ahh

Bro Thoth has XE1 before not sure if he is still has it he's one I know who had Fuji and A7.

I still use my Fuji XE1. For d Fuji colors. AF is better on d XT1. A7 AF is better than XE1. Fuji lenses r awesome though.

His Fuji relegated to wife use and now dunno where hehe last heard he try buy XE2 to revive Fuji but listen to me, don't get greedy stick to one system and BBB manual lens to get different effect, colour and perspective lah.... better than straddle 2 system.
