No worries, seii7. I am even more outdated in my knowledge of aircrafts. From my calling this military chopper the Jet Ranger, you can tell. :)

Thanks for setting me in the right direction. The Kiowa OH 58 is definitely what I was privileged to have seen. ;)

As I said to Orion... I am learning, and loving it. :)

Hmm..., it seems that there is a certain naming convention between the armed Bell OH-58D also known as Kiowa Warrior whereas the unarmed Bell OH-58D is only simply known as Kiowa. Also first knew about them from reading Tom Clancy's Armoured Cav: A Guided Tour of an Armoured Cavalry Regiment many donkey years ago, no doubt that their Mast Mounted Sight (MMS) is very distinct.

Not much Bell Helicopters flying around the skies here any longer. Managed to automatically record a sequence of this which I believed should be through SonotaCo UFOCapture software though I can't exactly remember. Ironically, I didn't even know it was the final flight of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) UH-1H Iroquois "Huey" from the 120 "Kestrel" Squadron (SQN) until quite some years later. :sweat:

Very nice catch Orion! Very disappointed that the RSAF never publicizes these last flights, the enthusiasts always miss out on seeing/photographing these events.

Haha not potong jalan. The RSAF Stratotankers (and Fokkers) have to execute short finals when landing on 20C/20R at Changi because as RSAF aircraft, are not allowed into M'sian airspace without prior permission. And to do a long approach into Runway 20 means they'll need to go into M'sian airspace.

Thought I saw them come in for landing from the South too while I was driving... only caught a glimpse, but shrugged it off as nothing, but since you mentioned A10, what I saw did match the shape of the flying canon. But timing was later than 1300 hrs... more like 1430 hrs... perhaps they did a loop and came back? Perhaps other bros might have caught it and can verify if indeed I did see what I thought I saw. (Sounds like Tweety Bird.. I tot I thor a putty-tat. Hahahah)

Nice.. They have a distinct shape and engine sound, can't miss them..

Was at Terminal 1 about a week ago. This China Southern plane came very close to the viewing gallery for me to take a shot without any tele-lens. My first contribution to this thread :)

Kinda of rare for A-10 to appear in Singapore isn't it? Only seen them twice at the Singapore Airshow & Asian Aerospace.
