OFFICIAL: CANON EOS 6D - User Thread - Part 3

I face some problem with the AF points.
They are not illuminated when I half pass the shuttle. This happen in Av,Tv,M and B mode. The rest of Auto mode the AF points are light up.
I try reset all setting but not able to set it up.

I did not have this problem last time.

Has anybody faced the same issue?

Thanks in advance

Try resetting all settings on your camera and if the problem still persists, best to send back to Canon for servicing.

I'm interested too. Saw it selling for S$100, pre-order only... Think most grip is about the same..

price check for 6d body alone in funan?

Before i bought chromage grip, Alan photo quote $128 or $130 for pixel vertax.
Therefore i choose chromage.

Prices shouldn't change since there's nothing jotting the market.

It's about 2.3k body only from about a month or two back.

is 24-70 f4 good for portrait shooting? i have the f2.8 in mind but f4 is cheaper

For sharpness you can look at reviews which have MTF numbers, so you have something measurable to be compared between the lenses (provided that both lenses are tested in the same way).

For DOF, generally speaking, the f/2.8 will give you the thinner DOF compared to the f/4.
