Might as well...I guess. By the way, anyone here bought the grip recently? What's the price for it now?

If you shoot events where u have to use flash (e.g ballroom 4hrs), time-lapse or video, the battery grip comes in handy. I have one pixel brand. RRP around SGD120.

for such a high priced item, IMO, i rather have the peace of mind to get from authorised dealers... but, that is just me. YMMV...

as a total aside, i am surprised that no rumours so far has surfaced on canon rumours website on the replacement since 6D is coming to the 2yr mark. ;p

Not sure how credible is this website, 6Dm2 sporting new PDAF sensor, the AF system probably will remain same, announcement on Q1 of 2015...

haha.. who knows... i hope they change the AF tho. i think i must be the only one here considering swapping my 6D for a 1Dm4... hahaha...

I just find the buttons on the 6D too spongy, the "handling & feel" coming from my old 20D is still better than the 6D. ;p other than that, it's a fine camera.
