Some recent comparison review (involving 6D) in YouTube had also mentioned price drop on 6D. Guess it quite common for for price drop after period.
Hope street price of local set drop to $2k soon.

Hi huat man, I know a sales person at one of the shops in SG. I am their regular customer. Not grey set. Their quote was the same as you mentioned $2.3k + in March. The sales person informed me last week. I will check if the quote was only for me, otherwise I would PM you the details if you are interested.
