Owww didnt knew third party one comes out that fast, gotten the original grip ~ Pocket burned a hole ~ Third party around 200+?

Thanks for sharing the peeks. I just noticed that the on/off switch is in a different place than the original?

And does the AA battery magazine come with a pouch too?

feEL like selling off my canon and getting a 3rd party one

I ordered the Pixel one from ebay…looks like the stocks came to SG stores faster than online :)
It's still OTW…however, from ebay i paid <SGD110, which is about $40 cheaper than locally but got to wait…if i had know SG would have before ebay, i wouldn't have bothered to buy from ebay..

Does a local third party set have warranty? If not still makes more sense to buy from eBay. $40 is a lot considering that it works out to more than 30% premium over the price u paid. Unless you nd it urgently...

AWF says that they will provide a six month warranty on mine. Not that it really matters much to me anyway.

Pixel didn't provide a pouch for the additional tray but that's just trivial IMHO. Also, the on/off switch's location on the Pixel one makes a lot more sense than the Canon's.

I find the nifty fifty to be a good lens to use as a walkaround. It makes the MkIII a very discreet camera that I can just shove into my small sling bag quickly, without a strap, of course.

awaiting more review of 3rd party grip, I missed the vertical grip after using 1-series for 5 years!

wonder if it is possible for 3rd party to build a grip with build-in GPS?

That's a great idea! I hope that 3rd party manufacturers and Canon are listening!

While we're on the topic it would also be nice to have a cumulative shutter counter for the life of the camera in the next firmware update. I don't understand why Canon does not offer this.... its a very simple idea and would be used universally. It's not like they can't do it...

Hi bros,

Can I asked if anyone bought a cf to sd adapter for 5d mk3? anyone knows where to get it?

sd to cf you mean? but 5d mark III has an sd slot so theres no need to use an adapter unless you only have sd cards

The 5D3 has both a CF and a SD slot. You can fill both slots simultaneously or individually with their respective cards. Maybe I'm not understanding your question, but I wondering why you would need an adapter.

Means he wants to use 2 SD cards at the same time...

Could be continuous numbering on your memory card.

Run EOSCount.com for more accurate shutter actuation.

check with u guy,i cant lock the focus exposure,is it do with the light leaking issue?meaning that my exposure of my subject change after i recompose.

No, when you half-press the shutter button, you only lock the focus. In order to lock the exposure, you need to use AE lock. Please read your manual for more info.
