Just notice that it doesn't support my non-L lens.
Firmware first or perform EOS utiltity lens update first ? or latest DPP first ... ?
Does firmware update overwrite the lens support for IN-body Peripheral Illumination/Chromatic Aberration/Distortion Correction database ?

Some shots I did over the week.. :embrass:
Just got a third party MkIII battery grip from Artworkfoto. Not sure if it's really magnesium alloy or engineering plastic but the body feels very solidly built. I have tried it with my 70-200 f2.8 mounted and I can't detect any flaws in the construction. It does come with the multi-controller and M-Fn button, as with the original grip.
Price? Ask them yourselvesBut as a gauge, I will be getting a couple of used original LP-E6s with the money I saved and still have money left over.
To me, it's a slight increase but not 'OMFG MY WRISTS WILL BE GONE BY THE END OF THE DAY to me' kind. The grip does have some heft to it alone though.
The grip gives the thuck thuck sound when you flick it, just a higher than the bodies, compared to the tick tick when you flick plastic.
