Fellow 5d iii owners...
Do you notice that evaluative metering seems to put a lot emphasis on the focus zone/spot? If you af on a white object, the metering will be 1/2 stop too fast(under). If you af on a black object, the metering will be 1/2 stop too slow(over). It is kinda like the evaluative metering is almost spot metering of af points...Anyone notice that? Anyway to let it just meter the overall scene with less emphasis on the af spot/zone?
Edit: By white subject or black subject, I meant an object taking just a tiny portion of the frame, not like taking portrait of a fair skin human vs a dark skin human.
