There are two possible options that I saw (and bought). First is 3.5in, W79mmXH45.5mm. This is a matte screen and is actually meant for touchsreen LCDs. I foresee this will be useful for cameras like the Oly EM-5 (it is good for the current GH2 which has the same problem as 5D3, apparently nothing in the market now that fits). Another one is a 'One Size Fits All' clear/glossy screen, W75mmXH60mm which I think is more suitable for the 5D3. The rest of the stuff there is probably too small, 3in and below.

Think I will stop by Daiso tmr after work. Any particular one to look out for?

Go challenger buy the notebook screen protector. Last time I bought 2x15.6" for around $30.

Hehe, the Mk3 screen protector is just the model of the GSS protector it isn't actually for the 5Dmk3
Currently there isn't any in the market for the 3,2" screen. Best is to tahan with those DIY $2 cut out type from Daiso..it works for now..i'm using it..buy a few and replace weekly until the better ones get released..it's only a matter of time really..

Can take Kenko 1.4x TC, but you lose the AF when you zoom the lens (when aperture becomes >F5.6 on the long end) unless you are using Pro 1X series bodies.

Kenko 2x DGX pro can AF on 100-400L and Sigma 150-500mm on my 5D. But is is a little slow.

Same thing happens here in Toronto. I used to have a neighbour from South America who lived here for a couple of years. Before returning to their home country, they got a bunch of credit cards, which are easy to get, maxed them all out and then left the country without paying. Police were knocking on the door of their home for 2 years! Not only did they acquire a lot of expensive items but they also acquired a brand new criminal record that will stay with them for life. They'll never be able to come back to Canada and possibly many other countries.

Have been shooting brids with 60D, 70-200 F4L IS and EC1.4, now with 5D3 I have a problem finding a suitable super telephoto lens for birding without breaking my back, 4 kg is max in my bag. I am keeping my 60D for the time being. Bro any suggestions. Tripod is out of the question as I travel and cannot bring heavy equipment. No problem waiting as I have busted my budget this year.

Try the 400mm f/5.6 L. 5D3 has decent IQ at high ISO so you can always shoot at high shutter speed high ISO.

I agree very much! I read the same thing happened to Dubai during the bubble burst a few years back. Houses left empty with loans unpaid, cars bought and left at the airport and loans unpaid, credit cards maxed out and those FTs just left like that. Tsk tsk... Sad...

Try the 400mm f/5.6 L. 5D3 has decent IQ at high ISO so you can always shoot at high shutter speed high ISO.

5D3 at ISO 12,800 in dim light. 135mm at F2, 1/40 sec. 100% crop may not be pin sharp, but entire image looks very usable in low light levels

you can see from the 100% crop that the light in my living room was switched off, with the light in by dining room on only. dining room light is 10 metres away from my cat.

with the 5D2, the max iso i wld go was 3200, now with the mark 3, perhaps even F4/5.6 lenses are perfectly useable in low light.
