do share your reviews thereafter man. =p
Just got my 550D from AP at $1105 wgst it work well with my Tamron 17-50mm but thinking of getting the EF 17-40 F4L so I can give the Tamron 17-50mm and 500D to my son. Any Bros kind to share your view on this len (17-40F4L) or 17-55mmF2.8 that give better IQ on our EOS550D. I shoot 95% indoor portraits with control lighting. Thanks in advance.
Average lens I would say.hi, anyone here owns the efs 18-135? care to share some thoughts? i am getting this lens this comin' saturday but according to reviews...its a bad lens.
17-55mm IQ is better, faster and with IS.Sounds like budget is not a prob...u might wanna go for the L?
The 17-55 is no doubt one of the best for cropped bodies but if you are going FF later on, this lens cannot be used already.

Resize to 8MP.I took some picture of my son at the park.
I noticed the background (especially the dark green colour), got some pixelation and noise when viewed at 100%.
The exposure is correct (i.e. not under/over expose) and the iso is set at 100. Using JPeg.
How to avoid pixelation/noise?
Hi, may i know what is the brand of the 3rd party battery that you got? I was reading through this thread and read some horror stories regarding 3rd party batteries. So if you've found a reliable brand, it'd us help a lot. :]

Even if u have lots of money to waste, I will still recommend 17-55mm IS USM. Rumours saying canon is releasing 24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM. I will be waiting for 3rd party like Tamron, Sigma to release F2.8 IS version of 24-70mm range, especially Tamron.
