That's true. I mean I can't afford a Leica M9 nor do I need one and you don't see me crapping about how over-priced and 'flawed' that camera is especially without even actually handling one in the first place. Also just because Nikon had put in the AF module of the D610 into the Df doesn't mean that they are obligated to sell the Df at D610 prices when the camera is not even remotely similar to the D610 in design and operation. And many a times, the people who are crapping about how costly the Df is are also the same people who think nothing of dropping >$4k on a Sony A7r and 35mm lens while waxing lyrical about what great value for money their purchase has been.

Let's rephrase what you said because I'm sick of misdirected tripe. Rather what you are angry about is that Nikon felt that you belong to a market segment that either does not need or cannot afford their best AF and packaged the camera in such a way that makes them the most profit. There, happy?

wow. so now you're feeling how Sony users feel when you talk like that about their cameras?

touche, dude

:bsmilie:

what's your minimum shutter speed

For me when using auto ISO, the min shutter speed depends on what lens you are using on Df.

If using prime just set to 1/focal length.
Else for zoom lenses, set to auto and you can fine tune the shutter speed from slower to faster in 5 steps. (I set it to faster)

When all that fails, just go to M mode and set your desire shutter speed and aperture.

Digitalrev just posted a DF review to celebrate new year... lol

LOL :bsmilie:
I watch Digitalrev just for the sake of entertainment, never take their words seriously. They (Kai, Alamby, Lok) are all Jokers.

For people who think that megapixels race, 51 AF points, video, pop up flash, 1/8000 shutter speed, are not the most important things to have in DSLR, then Df is really the One DSLR. (similar to the One Ring in Hobbit)

This Df camera is focused on photography indeed!

Yup. I also watch their videos for entertainment. Quite funny and some cold jokes along the way.

What? People getting small egoes over criticism against a company that short changes its customers almost on a regular basis? Say it ain't so! :bsmilie: Don't get me started on every company man. I have criticisms for every one of them.

Honestly, I don't give a damn what people think but if they are going to at least criticise something, for the love of anything, at least make a criticism that actually sounds bloody logical. But I will be damned when I hear craptastic ranting or pontificating on the Internet because it's becoming a sheer nuisance.

OOT. Please rant somewhere else. Both of you.

A Riddle for the day:

I AM a passionate purist, but I AM not a Leica
What AM I ?
