Seriously? Common, it's much older than that.
I cannot recall whether Nikon D1H and D1X have two arrows and green dot as manual focus aid.

Just picked up a black DF two weeks ago. Great camera! Really a high ISO monster!!!![]()
Why do you choose the black one ? Silver will give more vintage feel ;p
Haha.. The black one have more "feel" for me.. Silver looks vintage but somehow it felt more "plasticky" to me.. Anyway the black one was screaming "Buy me buy me" that I had to shut it up by asking the shop to take my money!!!![]()

It seems the beast really evokes two very opposite reactions, extreme reactions - "buy me, buy me" vs "yuks", and the proponents of "yuks" had been really loud in the forum. Great to see many of those voted yes I will buy have actually purchased the camera. I wanted to buy the black one, as my original FE2 was black. Then MoF put in a veto and said approval granted only for silver (old days we called it chrome) as it looks, like our brother said, more vintage - hence more outstanding. So silver it will be. My buddy and I order a black and a silver bodies each, arriving Christmas eve (hand courier) from KL.
Whatever the color, it is really a high ISO monster indeed !! Silver monster or Black monster![]()

Yeah it seems that the "yucks" people are really loud here. I am surprised that such a great camera earned so little accolades here honestly. Seems everyone are so excited about the A7/A7R and forgot about the D4 sensor in this little gem at half the price of D4.
Buy from KL? Shashinki? Will the warranty be effective in Singapore? Mind sharing the price?
Df incompatibility with Sigma lenses.
Shocking development !

That certainly dampen my desire to get the Df since I have some of these affected lenses.
Most likely third party batteries also cannot be used on the Df like in some of the other Nikon DSLRs that's upgraded to the latest firmware as well.

DF supported in LR5.3...

Hmmm.. jus mainly lenses tat do not haf inbuilt af motor.
Anyway just to highlight, the sigma 35 f1.4 shines yet again on the Df. No issues encountered thus far.
Well, they work without any problem on my D800E. So I would like and expect them to work on the Df too if I got one.Hmmm.. jus mainly lenses tat do not haf inbuilt af motor.

Anyone gotten any accessories to dress up the DF?? Btw, anyone knows where to get a spare battery for DF? Thanks in advance![]()
My brother in law has a studio in KL, and I got dealer's price. Can't share beyond that. Warranty might not apply here, but my plan would be to courier it up to KL if any problem. BTW he's using it for a job now so my piece will have maybe 1000-2000 shutter count when it arrives. Buddy's piece would be tested only for function.
