any one knows the difference between iso highlight prio and the normal iso in the 600d function? there will be a + sign at the ISO

i think i got it, the highlight tone pro will prevent the highlights from burning out but it will be noiser than the normal iso function

Hi, I need some advise.
I tried to take some photos with back light Eg. background is the sky. I have to on the flashlight, if not the object is totally dark. However, with the flash it looks very unnatural. Not "soft". (If u know what I mean)
How else should I do such shoots? Any other parameters to play with?

Pls advise, thanks.

set partial or spot metering on the subject? may be its better?

Hi guy, very new to this 600D and have been playing with it for 2 months, how or what to set to make the background and object being focused clearly? i am using the 18-55mm len :what:

Aperture is what controls this. If you set your aperture to a low figure like f/3.5, the object you are focusing on will be sharp while the background will be blurred. A blurred background is often called bokeh.

If you set your aperture to a high figure like f/22, both the object you are focusing on and the background will be sharp.
