Actually there is no must buy item

If you wish to protect your kit lens from day 1 you can get a filter and hood. Like wise you can get a lens pen and rocket blower for cleaning lens. I also just started my DSLR journey and learning everyday and fighting the BBB (Buy Buy Buy) virus too

Will be joining the wagon soon. Decided on the 600D instead of Nex 3 due to its LCD rotation of 360 degrees. I like the bokeh given by the kit lens.

Is it me or that the kit lens 18 to 55mm is shorter than the previour kit lens?

Parasilk is offering at $1187 if you pay in cash for 600D kit 1 18 to 55mm lens.

Its 132 more than the 550d kit lens 1 that they are selling.

I think the 18-55mm kit lens has the same focal length compared to previous kit lens. Different make I guess.

TK sells kit 1 at $1199. Price difference is insignificant. I guess customer service makes the difference. Choose the shop that makes you most satisfied. I was served by Wilson from TK. He is quite young and frank

TK is at Funan level 2. Maybe you can bring your old lens and compare on the spot?

its fits right, i was wondering if its shorter when i was handling it. I'm good with the 18 to 55mm lens for now.
