[Numnumball] - Virgin trip to West America 19-29 Dec 09

Come in July or August if you can. Sunny skies, no rain, long summer days, low humidity, and temperatures in the 20'C range. People here suffer for 10 months just to enjoy the weather in those two months, you know. :bsmilie:

Ya I know. I had friends there and I traveled there a few times during late summer/early fall. But then again, the seafood there is just simply out of this world so I wouldn't call it suffering.... I think constant humid summer weather in SG is more suffering.

Very very nice photos bro. BTW bro, you might want to take note, the structures you took are actually called Palace of Fine Arts. The National Art Museum is the building behind it.

Yeah, been living here since 1997. Can't wait to return to SG for good though. "Stuck" here until kids are grown up. Guess I should take more pics while still here. :bsmilie:

Yea dude, you have to. I was in Norcal from 1993 till 2004. Now I regret how I did not capture all the beautiful scenery I saw during my time there.

Don't fancy the SG weather either. But I plan to return for good one day. I will suffer the sweating and stickiness for the food! :D

For me it ain't for the food. In the end, it is family. Nothing is more important than being with your family.

I read somewhere that western US, and probably western Canada as well, has some of the most beautiful landscapes anywhere in the world. It would be a pity not to capture it as much as I can.

Can't disagree. Such feeling grows stronger as I age.

If you had told me earlier, I would have brought you to see the Brooks Campus in Santa Barbara which is about 110 miles northwest of LA.

Too bad...
