[Numnumball] - Virgin trip to West America 19-29 Dec 09

Thanks Bro. Glad it reminisce some fond memories for u ;)
It's really a nice place to visit.. Missing it already .... :(

Yes it is really nice. Too bad back then digital cameras were hella expensive. Wasn't that much into photography back then. Here are two pics I took in 1999, somewhere in Washington state between Spokane and Seattle. Taken with a 2MP digital camera. IQ is horrendous.

Bro they closed the tunnel at Casa de Fruta already?

I hope you ate at their diner restaurant. The food is excellent and there was this coffeecup flipper uncle that had been working there for years.

BTW, Casa de Fruta is actually in the city of Hollister, California, at Pacheco Pass along Hwy 152. It is always a resting, makan stop for us when we drive to LA from San Jose or SF.

Did you get the chance to visit the wineries there? Lots of great sampling opportunites :bsmilie:

I live near Seattle now. :D

In Redmond, WA?

Of course. I lived in San Jose area (aka Silicon Vallley) for 12 years. ;)

The best wineries are actually in the Napa region, north of SF. But I like to do wine tasting in the Gilroy region, south of San Jose. The wineries in Gilroy are smaller and a lot of them are family owned and operated. Found some very good wine once in a while, especially the private reserve which you will not be able to get in the stores.

Haizzz those were the days...

Bryan bro, Casa de Futa did not change a single bit. And it has been 7 years since I've been there.

I love how you capture photo #341, crisp and sharp:thumbsup: Those deli makes me hungry!
