Nikkormat FT3 was moving to AI, the original 50mm F2 lens was solid
I still have a silver FT3 under reburbishment

I am a sucker for Black bodies. hehe prefer black ones to the chrome ones.

The FM, this one shuttle replaced once. I started using since 1989.

I was considering the F3 and FA, but after I ended up sticking with my FE. I don't have any problems with the centre weight metering, and the exposure lock function is really easy to use. The FA feels a little cheap and plasticky. The F3 pretty does whatever the FE does but with an additional 1/2000 sec and a bigger viewfinder. Though the FE only does 1/1000 sec at its max in manual mode, it can go faster than 1/1000 of a sec in A mode. I load my film in the dark so I get 38-39 frames on my FE. If you ask me the "best" Nikon body is still the FM, the FM2 has nice features but every single one I tried so far feels a little differnt. But since I'm doing mainly street now the aperture priority function helped me get plenty of shots I never would have gotten with a full manual camera.

This has motor drive, AE. The FM FE with MD12 is too bulky

Wow that's nice! I got a FTN with the same lens too, it's awesome.

What I call the Digital FM2. Can use any non AI and AIS lens.

The USA model Gold D60 with the FM. Check the sizes.

I usually use the D60 with the 55mm 3.5 Micro. Sharp!

My kid always ask me: how can you shoot without checking the image??

One of my favourite for Street and tour. F801s with the Sigma 24mm 2.8 macro
The lens is better than the 24mm F2.8 AF, but the AF sound is horrid.

Damn, you're making me drool at your collection!!!

Well, maybe cos I didn't use a FE/FM before... but I really like the FA, the weight and feel in my hands is great. But, who knows, I might get myself a FM in the future :)

Love it. How do you compare this lens with the Series E 50mm f1.8?

If you shoot colour, the 50mm F2 pisses all over the 50mm F1.8.
If you shoot B&W, the 50mm F2 is much more obvious to be better.

Why I still can't give up film. Also, why I must shoot prime lens on 135mm

Sigma 24mm on F801s (?) the AF was useful for me

I can see the resemblance haha :)

And film is so alluring, it has its charms.

Hi, Nikkornos

May I know something on F100 is quite similar design as F6 today.

But the price is look like no value to have the F100.

All of them still prefer on F2 and above..

Do you have any experience on this?

Thanks your advise.
