what a huge crowd.
was getting a quick dinner with more OT and i spotted two girls with two golden boxes.
d5000 and 10-24mm. pretty weird the way they were carrying them.

must be nikon staff that provided the gadgets? :bsmilie:

I am glad to test out D5000 and the 35mm f/1.8 (think will get one for myself). Looking forward to the next kopi session!

Here, I would like thank Mr Chng and those kind heart helpers for this event. I got my chance molest D5000 and the 2 new lens. Looking forward to next kopi session. You definitely a great man.....Mr. Chng.:thumbsup:
 

just to add on to the pics. all of them taken with the kit lens and just resized. no PS done.

at ISO200, no suprises in the clean image...

i must say, true to form, everytime nikon comes up with a newer camera (regardless pro or not pro), the noise control gets a bit better than the previous cameras. for a consumer cam (and i've used a number of them), the ISO3200 pics are actually quite usable. i dun think i have problems blowing up any of these pics to 8R without running them thru noiseninja.

i will be bringing it out tomorrow ard national library area to shoot, together with the 10-24mm lens. hehe...

thanks to chngpe01 for lending it to me (plus other goodies) over the weekend!

nightwolf, are you able to zoom in 100% and show the sample pic (maybe cropped one) on the dark/black area using ISO3200 pics? Thanks

never figured out how to do all these 100% croppings... you can DIY. i've linked my son's photo and the crystal ball photo to the originals. just click and view it to your heart's content.
