True to that. I wonder tho, will shops like Three Sixteen and Cathay have lower prices on the D300s? Or will they choose to follow the MSRP/RRP for the first few batches/months :cry:

The D3000 is definitely a god sent for newbies or pns users taking thier first step into DSLR universe. Guide mode is like a "DSLR for Dummies Guide" built right into the body. Love it

Oh and it's iso1600 was surprisingly usable

Didn't check the RRP for the D3k. The 3" LCD is great, IMHO very useful at full magnification during preview. Pixel-peepers will love it!

Both D3k and D5k felt well built. In comparison, D5k's LCD is smaller, but the swivel design is very useful. My kid had fun taking self-portraits and videos!
