When comparing the price of both D7100 and D7200, I found the latter to be cheaper than the former even though the latter is the new model which has enhanced feature than the former. Does anyone know why? Thank you.

shouldn't be if same shop. I'm not surprised if Courts, best denki etc still selling D7100 at old prices

D7200 body only $1189, which is like $50 more then the D7100 now..

$1189 from? I went down to my preferred shop and they quoted me $1230.

This happens when the updated pricing for D7100 is not yet released to the shops. As for why the D7200 is cheaper, well.. Nikon loves their users P

Last I checked, MS Color, Tk, Cathay are selling at $1189 since launch. (This is credit card price actually)

I read from your earlier post that D7200 uses D5300 sensor. But in overall, is D7200 still much better than D7100? Thanks.

Yes, it's from Best Denki.

Just avoid these chain stores. Their stocks are hardly up to date.

The d7200 is better then the d7100 overall. Wifi, huge buffer, improved af engine (similar to d750) and low price makes it a great camera.

Dxomarks has given the d7200 top scores and proves its awesomeness. I have many great low light shots with it.

Of course d7100 owners have fewer reasons to upgrade, but the new users shld just get the d7200.

does mustafa gives the best price in town? U can try calling up tk foto, Cathay, slr Revolution etc to ask

Have a question with D7000...

How do i get my image playback to display JPEG only. At the moment, it is displaying BOTH nef and jpeg. Kind of annoying that i have to keep skipping every alternate picture.
