Saw it in ebay, but all from overseas. Do we have it from local??

Can the screen still swivel and turn with the hard cover protector on?

i think there's no original hard lcd protector for D5000, only 3rd party's.

D5000 could do auto focus if the focus motor inside the lens. That mean for non AF-S lens, it can't auto-focus and you should do it manually.

AF-S means Lens with in-built focusing drive/motor in them. D5000 does not have a focusing drive in the body, so it means you need lens(AF-S), to do auto-focusing.

You can still use AF lens model, it just means you use manual focusing.

advise a goods lens for taking wide angle & some what telescope Lens..

tamron 17-50 for ur lowlight n daily usage
+
nikon 55-300 for ur tele usage

Bro, should hold on for the 18-270 PZD (Piezo Drive) 60th Anniversary model.. I have high expectations for this one... The amount of improvement they have done on the 70-300 Anniversary model is excellent!

I thinking of an external flash as kit lens dun work tt well for me in low light
1) SB600 or 700 which should i get

Also thinking of getting an additional lens. Not sure which of the following to get
1) F1.8 35mm DX Nikon
2) Tamron F2.4 17-50

Lastly, a battery grip.

P.S. do any of you have an idea how much these cost. I emailed Alan photo but they have not replied. =(
