hello all!
hehe just got my d5000 today! =D
excited to start shooting with it.. still trying to familiarise myself with the cam. totally unused to it.. have used a film slr, pns, friends' dslrs.. but this is the first that i can call mine. hehe.
quick silly question.. how do i 'force' the cam to take a shot even when it is not exposed correctly? eg, if i intentionally want to make the photo dark. i tried in Manual mode but the shutter sometimes still doesn't release =/
hey can i know...erm i know dat the nikon d5000 can only fit lens dat has auto focusing motors.....
how bout third party lens like tokina and etc?

and roghly arnd how much?

Would there be a difference between mounting a SB400 or a Nissin Di466? Or are both flashes around the same quality?
Yes, SB400 has LCD and Di466 did not have LCD.
hi guys just wondering if the prime lens AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f1.8G is good for the d5000.
Currently only holding on to 2 kit lens 18-55 and 55-200. howevr found that it aren't wide enough for protrait and the performance of the lens aren't too good too. Anyone??
are you sure about this? My SB400 does not have an LCD.
