Ya cos most of them are deprived of the FPS that nikon has offered other than the D4/D5 series. Lol

Hi , may I know how much is d500 going for in Singapore at Cathay / TK
I am a little confused with the shutter specs regarding the electronic curtain in mirror up mode.
The specification was stated on the D500 but I don't know what it means (ie. Only available in MUp mode or is it available in Live View without having to dial to MUp) and I also hear that the electronic front curtain is not available on the D500 but is available on the D5 although both were similarly stated in the product specification in the Nikon USA website
I don't have the D500 but I was interested in the issue so was reading up about it. From the specifications D500 seems to have electronic front curtain, and from what I read Nikon's implementation is that it is only available in MUp mode. (Canon's implementation is that electronic first curtain is only available in Live View)
Means that to get electronic front curtain, you have to depress the shutter button twice, once to lock the mirror, another time to activate the shutter then a delay before the exposure starts.
This is how I understand it from DPReview's D810 review and write up about it:

Hi, like to check if that's any known problem with this model so far?
