nikon 28mm f1.8

28/1.8 tested at NSC. Quick test few shots only.
Verdict:
- Bokeh quite pleasing.
- Auto-focus is fairly quick from end to end.
- Sharpness: seems pretty good to me.
- Handling is quite balanced on medium-sized bodies like D7000. Feels all right on the FX bodies as well.

ya. considering fx lens, it small, light weight and compact.

thanks i purposely shot without the buildings. 1.Due to the massive crowds of blackies and whites, and I didnt managed to get a good shooting spot, despite reaching mbs ard 6pm. ((i wonder if i.m in singapore celebrating our NDOP))2.wanna to just focus on the fireworks itself. 3.the 28mm fov is not wide enuff on my D300s.

sorry to disapoint u sir. soon, m awaiting news for d600. i still love my d300s.

i shot the fireworks at ndp rehearsal, but with tokina atx 116 pro dx , with buildings. hence wanted only to focus capture purely on the fireworks.

YES i waited 1month for my copy! imho an fx nano Coating lens for sub 1k price tag, it value For money.

I think S$850 is a fair price. Considering this lens is like almost non existence in most places.

Finally got my 28mm today after so many weeks of hunting around.
Orient Photo was where I bought it but I do not know how many pieces they still have.
Can try calling up and asking if interested.
$850.
