It may just be people realize 28mm is just not suitable for them or just wanna have a quick try on the lens and treat the difference as rental fee.

People get too excited with new lens release la. After buy then realize a new lens cannot make their pictures better. And wide angle dof so deep, cannot zoom, dunno how to use. Sell lor.

Wide Angle prime is not easy to use. Need to know really how to compose well and what situation to use.

The only reason, if they sell their 28mm f1.8g is consider wanna go for 24mm G in the time...

all the photos your have to try on your best, Even.... Ken Rockwell do not post their best photos on reviews by everyday...

i also see people selling the.holy.grail trinty.lenses. Does.it means.it.is bad too? imho ..

I must say that I fell in love with it - whatever others say. I also bought along the 14-24mm, and the 50mm - but found that I had the 28mm on most of the time.

The key issue is the length of time. Typically happens to people who buy on impulse with no idea why they want such lenses, or did not do enough research. Or sometimes simply want to "rent" for a trip.
