Night Landscape Test Shot for Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens

I have yet to take photos on my 40D in Tokyo or maybe somewhere like Korea or even Sydney.

Most of the time, when I am in Sydney or Tokyo or Osaka; I notice that the air is cleaner and the buildings look "crisper" and "cleaner".

Its a strange feeling, things just look brighter and cleaner compared to Singapore, KL or Shanghai (quite a bit of pollution).

Not sure if this has anything to do with maybe humidity or just atmospheric dust.

Shot 1: Shutter 30 sec, f/9.0

Shot 2: Shutter 6 sec, f/7.1

That bad the focus? HK liao.

btw guys, Bernard's pictures, AMAZING leh, U mentioned got no PP done ah? SO SHARP! Were u using a FF camera? Unlikely rite? since u using 11-16mm?

Can PM me the price and place to buy this lens? All my night shots never looked 50% that good! :mad2:

photo taken with a toki 12-24mm @ 14mm, f/11, ISO100, 15s.

i think toki 12-24's really a decent set of lens to use.

thanks for your kind comments... its not a hdr. the pp done just just to increase contrast that's all. nothing much. long exposure was used to capture the stars in a low light area.

just doing justice to a nice piece of glass.

i got mine from Cathay Photo Marina. Price was not the most ideal but at that pt of time they are the only one who has it.

$950 @ Lords, Nikon Mount. Just bought a few days ago. The price for lens are all over the sticky thread, is that a secret?
