Sharpening image in your camera is very simple, all you need is to use custom setting in the menu shooting mode in your camera. You should have a menu item look something like this:

I normally put to medium high for my D200. If you're using manual focusing just stop at the infinity sign on the focusing ring for landscape shooting. :)

Thanks man ..... Erm, how do you increase the sharpening level in a camera ? Hee.... I think the problem was that I didnt focus it quite right. I pushed the focus ring all the way right..... and sort of went beyond infinity..... I thot later that between infinity and 2 m was just nice for distanced shots....

hope you all dun mind me posting in this thread..

photo taken with a toki 12-24mm @ 14mm, f/11, ISO100, 15s.

i think toki 12-24's really a decent set of lens to use.

Thanks Zola ! Will try that the next time round. I actually went back to take a couple more shots on manual with the help of the little green light on the Nikon lower left inside the viewfinder. Seems to work well !

Hi!
Can you PM me the price and where you bought it!
Thanks!

Hey Bro Zola, here are 2 more shots I took a couple of days back. Used it as a walkabout lens and shot handheld.

I am thinking of getting this lens. But kind of worry about CA.

My set up is Nikon D100.

Accord to the review by KenRockwell.
...Lateral Color Fringes (secondary lateral chromatic aberration)

the older (pre-2007 introduction) cameras can't correct this automatically. ...

Do you guys have any comment for me?

regards

Wah.. you are so bombastic sia. I had to look it up and found what you'd mentioned was just.. purple fringing..

so i guess your answer is. nothing to worry about?
I kinda newbie :)

LOL! Sorry to disappoint you. I didn't shoot in harsh enough light to get purple fringing so far.

Nice shot bros, is this Korea?

Thanks, bro. Yup, that's Korea. Was there for work. The weather is fantastic now that's it Autumn, great for walkabout.

And now, this is Singapore.

Thanks for sharing your pics, it seems that the photos you took in Korea are much sharper than the one you took in Singapore.

You know what? I agree to this observation. But seriously, I don't know why..
Weird thing is, the Korea photos were shot handheld. The Singapore ones were all shot on tripod.

What aperture & shutter speed did you set for your Korea & Singapore pics?
