Why are you linking that article about Olympus as a reply to my post? Makes absolutely no sense. Anyway, it doesn't address the topic.

by the way, may i know what is the banding you guys talking about? is it only appears in lumix range? or other brands or models may exhibit such symptoms? is it annoying??
Hi all, for those of you who have been using the GM1, how do you find its image quality? Is it comparable to say an Olympus OM-D EM-5?
This cam is one of my to buy list given its very compact size!
However, my other concern is the body to lens size. While the body is very compact, the balance seems to be lopsided (front bulkier) when used with many other m4/3 lenses.
Thanks for your advice!
The image quality of GM1 is good. Its compact size is the main reason I bought the camera. As for your concern of lopsided, even if you buy a DSLR, when it is fixed with a zoom lens, it is also lopsided. So I have no issue with GM1, practice make perfect and I called it "skill" to use a compact camera like GM1 to take good pictures.
anybody want this? http://www.kleptography.com/rf/. Stick on grip and still allow the use of tripod.

Does it glue to the body? Hope it's not.
anyone keen to trade their silver body for an orange one? Mine wa locally bought on 14th Dec and warranty yet to register online.
PM me if keen otherwise.
Sorry I got 2 noob questions to ask:
1. Is there a camera case that fits the GM-1 and 12-32mm lens nicely?
2. I read that the GM1 can accept m4/3 lenses. So that includes the Olympus range, such as the kit 12-50mm?
Thanks guys!
It is a very good camera. Only if it has in-built stabilizers, this camera will be perfect.
