Wanton Mee Dry
Sabx2 Pratunam

The dry wanton me is much better than the soup. Simple noodle with no sauce. Only pork lard oil, crispy pork lard & preserved radish. The portion was very small!! I ate 3 bowls of it haha

Seabass with Thai Sweet & Sour Sauce
Somboon (Bantadthong Branch Bangkok)

All these dishes including their signature dish Fried Curry Crab which was not shown cost about $80 plus SGD.

Need some advice on the fish photo, The chili covering the fish eyes. Does it looks distracting to you?

Thanks!! ya the fish was fresh, spicy & sour goes very well with the fish.

a nice food thread with nice pics.

starting to look like a mini food blog within a photography forum, but it would be good if all dishes have ratings (refering to the stars you usually give. excluding the self-cooked ones of course!).

btw, thanks for sharing the places with tasty food.

Hai Yan Char Kway Teow (Telok Blangah Rise Hawker Centre)

A nice little Char Kway Teow hidden in an old hawker centre. It's not those very outstanding kind of Char Kway Teow but it's a very local kind of Char Kway Teow that I eat when I was a kid. Very Singaporean lol As far as I know, this is the only stall that provide another option of "Char Bee Hoon" Same style as Char Kway Teow, but replaced the kway teow and noodle with bee hoon.
