Phoenix City Quail Eggs
Tim Ho Wan (Toa Payoh)

Finally got the chance to try the famous 1 Michelin Star Dim Sum. Less queue in Toa Payoh branch.
The food were quite nice but don't really felt that it deserved the long queue...
Can find the same quality elsewhere.

Not much composition to talk here, I dont have the space for it :( Was given a small table and I ordered too much food on the 1st order...

Due to lots of people queueing, all the food you ordered will be served to you fast and stacked all over the table even if the table had no more space...That why I only took a few shots and gave up :bsmilie:
Phoenix City Quail Eggs, great names but it's just only a Siew Mai topped with sliced quail eggs.

Crispy Salad Fish Roll
Tim Ho Wan (Toa Payoh)

I don't like this dish, the salad cream taste overpower the fish taste. I don't even know I was eating fish untill I see the menu again.

Baked Bun with BBQ Pork
Tim Ho Wan (Toa Payoh)

Signature dish of Tim Ho Wan. The crispy sugary skin goes well with the not so sweet juicy char siew.
Kind of like Bo Lou Bao combined with Char Siew Bao. It's nice, but still I won't go into long queue for this

Remember your photo of the noodles in the SABX2 Restaurant in Pratunam?

Post #1081. That looked delicious. I presume they were better than the over rated Ah Lam Noodles.

Herbal You Tiao
Johor Bahru Malaysia

Went to Kukup over the last weekend, the coach stop us by a coffee shop for breakfast in JB. Nice little coffee shop (I don't know the address or how to go :( )where the local used their heart to cook up the foods for the customers, which we don't see much in SG anymore...

Quite a creative way to make a you tiao, it had a faint taste of herbal in it, not too over power. I like it haha

Fried Carrot Cake

Hand made carrot cake fried with sweet sauce. The carrot cake was soft and yummy but a bit too oily.
