I believe the Nikon mount comes with built in motor so should be able to AF on D40. Correct me if I'm wrong.
 

Hmm... seems no one got a better quote for the Canon mount. Well, bo pian liao..
 

Not sure if they have the stock for Canon mount before I fly off to HK.
Looks like it may be worth while to buy it in HK where it is about SGD800-810 if it stays at 930.
 

The review has been done and I think the 18-270 is not bad.

But if you have an 18-200, the 'upgrade' isn't worth it. However, if you don't have an 'all round travel lens' ; I think the 18-270 would be the optimum choice.

I'm not really agreeing with the price for the Canon mount. However, it seems to be similarly priced in the US market (USD$630 approx. SGD$940); price for the US market was taken from Amazon.
 

Is Canon mount available? From what I know from Cathay, they say it is for Nikon only.
