Couldn't be bother about their CS or registation online. They don't even bother to reply a simple enquiry email. So just take it as auto extend 3 months since in the first place, their website is not even ready for new product registation (not new liao actually by now). In worst case, like Agivar said, bang table loh.

Talking about lumix SG, they doesn't seem keen in promoting their lumix product. At least we see Malaysia, HK, TW have their lumix FB page. What does SG has? Nothing..

Somemore, they have their Asia office in SG and yet SG is the most been forgotten.. what a joke!!!

I think alot of us who like their products and hate their sales/service/after sales will have the same sentiment of love/hate feeling.. haha..

Their lumix division is very small. Part of Panasonic AVC division. I guess thats the problem with Panasonic vs say Olympus. Panny has a marketing budget that they
share between fridge, tv, irons etc.. so lumix is very small..

Hi,
I would like to add, even though Malaysia Lumix have a FB page, their customer service is just as bad and blur on their own products. I have been asking about the GH3 availability in Malaysia and each time they just give me a standard reply, which basically equates to "Don't KNOW!". Imagine GH3 is their flagship product, they can't even tell when stocks are available or make enough of them to meet demands. So, this is how they wish to market and support their products.

If not for the fantastic video capability, i'd probably won't even bother but unfortunately i am dying to get my hands on it (suspect there are many ppl like me waiting & waiting but what do do hor?)

Last question, where can i find a GH3 in Singapore, especially in the 12-35 kit form. Malaysia don't even bother to bring in the 12-35 kit, only the 14-140 kit or body only. Appreciate if anyone can let me know which retailers for me to contact. At this point i rather save myself the frustration of waiting and just take a trip down south to get it.

Your help is much appreciated, thanks!

Why should they bother? People will buy it anyway.

I think Panasonic is just not listening to what the ground wants.. : )
Same here in SG. I've actually also written on the Panny SG FB about GH3 availability before and guess what? They respond but they do not have any idea..
so the same issue.. i.e. bad service. In the era of social interaction with Brands, this can be a very important point. that companies dont know how to handle the social channels.. (i know what i"m talking about, this area is part of my day job : ) )

They don't know to? I always had the impression they just have bad manners in Singapore. ;)

Yes, they can choose not to bother, but what damage does that do to their brand. Don't just talk about sales and product availability, how about after-sales. With that kind of attitude, i think some people will definitely think otherwise no matter how good the product is. Earlier post about how registering for product warranty, the product itself don't even appear. Speaks a lot of about how this company chooses to do business

Damage will be zero in areas like Singapore.

I just hope zan82 reads this. And hope someone tells shiokawa-san

Hi guys,

1. Warranty registration -> Sorry for this issue! Saw this and has already rectify this portion.
2. Reply on enquiry email -> we're definitely looking into this issue and will improve on this!
3. There isn't a LUMIX Singapore Facebook, but there is a Panasonic Singapore Facebook page. We definitely are trying our best to address customer enquiries on this page!
