New firmware for NEX 7 is here

I like the way he says he has only to use a toothpick and some other small objects to poke at the rec button when he has to do recording. It is hilarious and i almost spill my coffee while reading.

Anyway, he used superglue for the modification. The next owner must appreciate your mod or it will be tough to sell. The super glue most likely will leave a permanent marking on the part.

Why so complicated? Just put the NEX-7 in an underwater housing and remove the movie button from it.

yeah me too thats why I share it here the goot part there are those for toe corn that you can buy from watson maybe that would do atleast that one you dont need to use super glue. Or use those dual sided tape from DIY shops enough to hold the rubber in place

its ok bro yeah you're right less updates for SLT folks only have these on FW1.06

1.Addition of capability to enable or disable MOVIE button.

yea. when i half-press on the shutter release, my voigtlander focuses really fast. also, i did notice that even my samyang fisheye lens focuses really fast too.

also, when i try to mount an A-mount lens without the LA-EA2, the E-mount will transform into the A-mount. really, they must have developed the firmware on cybertron :bsmilie:

Did anyone notice that the sensor got bigger after the firmware update? And also i think the screen is now a solar panel. My battery got charged after leaving under the sun for 8 hours.

I'm speechless after i read all... seems my NEX-7 after firmware update... it become white~... even my sigma 30mm f/2.8 also become white colour

There is a function that i do not seem to remember that it is in 1.00

Under the display brightness, there is a now a sunny weather. Is it there in 1.00?? cannot remember liao.
