Information about pick up point and event highlights is out.

I hope that the bus for the public to take will come on time on target.

Last year RSAF open, we came early but the bus was the weakest link and had to see the aircraft fly pass at Eunos interchange.

thanks for the update... hope to be able to drive there...

if you followed the link..
"Visitors are advised to take the MRT or public transport to Singapore Expo. Drivers are advised to park their cars at Singapore Expo as no cars (including those in taxis) will be allowed to drive beyond the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal junction without a valid pass."

From the events highlights, apart from the naval diving unit show, the rest ain't that interesting to me. This is nothing as compared to last years RSAF open house, where the Airshow was really so very exciting, so dynamic and so much to shoot.

But actually, what diving are we gonna to see? Divers jumping from a chopper? Chopper winching up from the sea?

It's going to be a long walk to the bus pick up point as it is located near hall 1.

Think of the childrens.:dunno:

er.. can take bumboat from Changi Village to the naval base ?

you know how far is it from changi village to the naval base via car? ;)

and the bum boats are headed to pulau ubin, not the naval base..
think the only solution for you to go there is only via the public buses at expo... (unless you are from the naval base itself)

just realised that imdex is here...and quite a lot of visiting ships...

http://www.imdexasia.com/war_participating.php

just wonder if any of them will stay behind during the CNB open house...

dun think so... the event is 15-18 May for only navy men ! btw.. the warships from India, Korea look big ! Aust is only one with submarine.

actually yes, not aircraft like planes but helicopters ! from the heli decks of Frigates and Landing Ship Tanks. Actually, the navy could implement AV-8 Harrier on their LST and make it a mini-carrier.
