Wee How,
#2 is very well done, I passed by there many times but did not have that eyes of yours to shoot that beautiful picture. The pp bring out the entire mood and feel of the presentation. Good work!!![]()

This list does not include those shy fans
....
@ takeshi.lum, fatigue, SurrealDreamWalker, LowLights, JellyBelly, Sirikin, allenleonhart...
...and every one of you in this thread who have given me your feedback.
I come back from a very tiring day of dog-hard work to see all you guys' encouragement like this,
it makes me forget all the stress at work and for some funny reasons,
it makes me just feel like firing my boss and taking the rest of the year off just to practise shooting IR photos to improve myself! :bsmilie:
Really thanks to all for your compliment.
You guys know me very well. I am intrinsically a colour-naughty person.
I still want to emphasize that my IR experience cannot hold a candle to all the seasoned shooters here.
I am still learning and I will still continue to make lots of mistakes.
So do keep your feedback coming.
Sincerely, thank you all so much!
I seldom log in this forum, but soon after logging in, I see your beautiful work alongside your humility. Aww... bullshit. This series looks bloody good, and surpasses your past early work when I first enquired about your modified 20D months ago.
This series still shot using your mod 20D? The post processing is very creative and colourful. I love it madly. If only I could do this... sigh... I'm not paid enough to own a spare DSLR to modify although I modify for others.
I suggest you display your work in some internationally known photography forums or portals such as Redbubble or DeviantArt. You could sell prints of your work and then really fire your boss.
Jemapela, hey thank you so very much for your encouragement.
My post processing is kind of hit-and-miss.
What I am trying to do now is still to explore and develop some kind of consistency in my processing.
I will try, say a series, with a similar theme and style of processing to ensure I have full control over the pictures.
I am sure with more practice I will be able to get more reasonable results.
As for selling, aiyoh... no lah. Not to that standard yet.
I got to be careful not to let my boss sack me before I sack him... Hahahaha...
Thanks so much once again for coming on board and giving me your comments!
P.S. Edit - oh, yes, I am still using my R72 modified Canon 20D. No change. Haha...
Even if what you say is true about the hit-and-miss, your results displayed here prove you were able to tweek out something very beautiful in Photoshop. I think it looks very attractive and surreal, even magical. I think some of these images could sell and are worth buying. Give it a shot on Redbubble or something.
Of course, continue to develop some kind of consistency and make it your signature style.
Why are you in danger of being sacked?
