Take care bro... it is a 'spirit tree' that house a powerful spirit hence the prayer flags around the trunk to prevent the spirit from 'disturbing' human...

Haha... SurrealDreamWalker. Thank you once again!
Erm... actually I know this place very well, and I am also pretty well versed with the Tibetan longda and the Tara mantra.
So I think I should be quite covered... :bsmilie:

Why, thank you very much, livideyez, for your generous encouragement!
I am risking life and limbs here venturing totally out of the boundaries of conventional IR treatment.
Any moment my neck is ready to roll... hahaha....!

Wow... bro limwhow, now i know you're a follower of Tibetan Buddhism.

So interesting and this is what i found out:

"The Wind Horse, or Longda, is another mythical creature from Tibetan history that finds itself symbolically represented in Buddhist prayer ornaments and prayer flags.
The Wind Horse carries the Three Jewels of Buddhism – The Buddha, Dharma and Sangha and is carrying positive and insightful messages to other reaches of the world."

And

"Longda is a product of the primitive Benbo belief to worship and sacrifice for natural gods, as well as one of the main sacrificial ceremonies of Tibetan Buddhism."

If you're planning to visit Jiuzhaigou for travel-cum-photography, do let me know :)

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha :)

Another one of my favourite places.
The Cold Storage.
It was a dark afternoon...

Pass by Yuan Ming Si every day.
Again, it took an arrival of a pre-National Day holiday for me to slow down to take a photo of this temple.

As hard as I tried to, this year's National Day display at Raffles Place grass verge was hard to miss.
Hehe... the little IR camera just went totally kaput upon beholding this sight....

That's terrible, like a small boy waiting for his palm to be spanked, for a mischievous deed...
But then, thanks to your encouragement. I shall keep breaking these boundaries!

I have met quite a number of your fans. They like your works but never post on the thread.
I guess we asians are really shy by nature. :)

We should start LWH fans club :bsmilie:
