I think quite a few people are confused about the lens adapter size. Firstly, you have to understand why there is a need to have the adapter. You usually add the adapter in order to add a lens converter (be it a wide-angle or tele-photo one). You noticed I called these converters and not lenses since technically they are not really considered as camera lenses.oh that means cant buy raynox lor... coz 52 mmm only... so ? now where to buy -out of stock ? Me wish to buy wide angle lens ...for scenery photos when traveling...can help me out ?
Err... are they? I dunno... please enlighten me here. I am trying to learn also. The fill in flash is to light up the subject in the foreground and still capture the background (further where the flash can't reach, but a longer exposure will). Isn't that? I thought I tried night portrait mode in one of those PNS cameras and that was exactly what it did.But filling flash and night portraits are totally different things altogether.

I dunno if it's just me, but I think there is a very very fine line of definition here... if any. Maybe I am just too noob to understand any subtle differences.Fill-in flash usually is used to brighten up underexposed objects especially in a backlit situation. Night portraits are more or less understood if u want to properly expose both your subject and the background, unless there's already a light source on your subject directly then just mount tripod and expose without flash.

What OS are you using?hi all...
I'm having fun wif my S5...
I've bought a kingston 4gb SDHC class 6 and able to read/format using the SDHC card reader I've just bought.
But my PC can't seem to detect the "supplied" Toshiba 4gb SDHC (class 4).
when used in the S5, it works fine, I can even format it.
any1 encountered same issue?
Hi everyone,
I'm new here, also very new to the photography scene. Decided to take up photography and bought a S5 IS yesterday at the PC show.
A few questions to ask,
- Any website recommendations to learn how to take a good photograph?
- My S5 IS camera's SD card slot feels very tight when the SDcard is slotted in. And the push-release spring of the card slot seems to be not functioning. Is this common for this camera?
- For a newbie, what's a good way to learn about the camera controls? I read the supplied user guide and fail to understand a majority of what it's saying
